This geode is made much like the others but it has semi precious stones (Red Jade, Rose Quartz, Opalite, and Quartz) and stone beads along with the other embellishments. Each geode begins as a 4 inch round disk about 1/4 inch thick and end up around twice that depth as I build it up with modeling paste and gem + crystal colored beads, and a slew of other embellishments to get the look just right. It’s finished with a varnish to give it long lasting protection.
